Play through as many songs as you can without a mistake, build long combo streaks, and fill the Star Power meter, which doubles your score once activated. Notes stream down the screen and you have to play each one at exactly the right moment: press the matching coloured button on the guitar neck in time while the strum bar sounds the note. The more accurately you play, the higher your score and the louder the crowd — and on the harder difficulties, a flawless run becomes a genuine challenge.
Did You Know?
Although the Guitar Hero series started on home consoles in 2005, the arcade version only arrived in 2008. Raw Thrills reworked the game specifically for arcades, with shorter sessions and a faster menu system, so it would fit the arcade experience perfectly.
