The Goal of the Game

As a member of a special military unit you have to stop an undead army equipped with modern weapons. The battlefields are packed with skeleton soldiers, armoured vehicles, attack helicopters, and gigantic bosses, so the missions can only be completed by working together. Use your assault rifle, pick up more powerful weapons, and cover your squadmates as you fight. Reloading means swinging the rifle away from the screen — and while you do, you automatically raise a shield that protects you from enemy fire.

Did You Know?

In Japan the game was released as World Combat, while the rest of the world got it under the Warzaid title. Its success led to a 2004 sequel called Wartran Troopers.
