The Big Lebowski
Quick Overview
The Big Lebowski is Dutch Pinball's spectacular, one-of-a-kind pinball machine that brings the world of the Coen brothers' 1998 cult film to life. The machine doesn't just borrow the film's characters and graphics — with more than 200 original movie quotes and scenes, music, animations, and a genuinely working miniature bowling lane, it recreates The Dude's legendary world. The multi-level playfield, the interactive rug, The Dude's car, and the Brunswick bowling lane with ten individually controlled pins make The Big Lebowski stand out from a traditional pinball machine at first glance.

During the game you can relive the film's most iconic scenes and characters. Complete the various modes, collect the characters, start multiball, and of course, go bowling. A real pinball rolls down the built-in Brunswick bowling lane, and at the end, ten individually controlled pins wait for the throw. The ultimate goal is reaching The Dude Abides mode — but first you have to prove you're worthy of The Dude's calm.

Why Is It Special?
The Big Lebowski is a rare example of a movie-themed pinball machine that doesn't just slap familiar images from a well-known film onto a playfield, but genuinely tries to capture its world. The working bowling lane, the moving rug, The Dude's car, the original movie clips, and the character-based game modes together turn the machine into something close to an interactive Big Lebowski experience. And of course, there's the rug. Because it really does tie the room together.
